Built around the way research works.

From dietary capture to configurable scientific data collection, Computing ReApplied helps researchers shape technology around their study.

Better dietary capture. More room for discovery.

Our story begins with dietary capture: helping people record what they eat and helping researchers work with the resulting data. Collecting that information is only part of the challenge. Turning it into a consistent, useful record can mean repeated questions, manual transcription, and time spent preparing data instead of studying it.

Research questions should shape the tools.

A scientific study has its own questions, participants, and protocols. We believe researchers should be able to shape their data collection around those needs. Our purpose is to reduce the friction between a research question and the information needed to investigate it, while making the collection experience easier for the people taking part.

From a dietary diary to a configurable platform.

myMedDiary is our starting point for a broader approach to scientific data collection. We are developing a platform that can be adapted to a study’s needs: what participants are asked to capture, how that information is organized, and how a research team works with it. We work with teams to understand the protocol and identify what can be configured and what needs custom development.

Built with research teams in mind.

Start with the protocol

Define the research question and collection requirements before choosing the workflow.

Make participation practical

Keep the experience clear and usable on the devices participants already have.

Plan for the analysis

Think about how collected information will be reviewed and used by the research team.
